February so far...
a mish-mash of poetry, music & more :)
hello wonderful people! it’s so good to be writing to you all. are you new here? an extra special welcome then. it’s so nice to see my circle of subscribers expand. if you’d like some more personal context feel free to check out my website before reading. thank you & enjoy <3.
We are currently caught, in a way, between winter and spring. I certainly feel this in my bones — work is speeding up (and there are lots of things in the pipeline!) yet I’m still finding myself attending to things in a slow, more luxurious way. Unfurling, unfolding. The Celts has a name for this liminal space, they called it imbolc (sometimes spelt imbolg). You can see in my note, pictured above, that I have celebrated this in-between occasion in my own personal way, with fresh flowers & a candle (lit with intention).
In my last post I unveiled my music video.1 It was an exciting time. I actually rewatched it yesterday, and it hit different. I feel like it’s now taken on a life of its own, as artwork really should, and honestly my mind has been focused on lots of other work and even the next music video (for BANSHEE). But I still made time, of course, to celebrate this win of mine :)
Recently, I recorded my first draft of six poems. Yes, I am creating an audio reading! It will be available for sale on my Big Cartel page imminently. This is something I have been thinking of doing for a month or two, and since so many of you enjoyed my post on here soft-launching it, it felt right. Plus, I am only shipping the physical copy to people in the UK as of 2026 so it gives more of you a chance to connect with the work. (A lot of my readers are international! I see you!!)
In other news, I am still working on my sculpture (ODE) but have needed to spend some time printing more of six poems. I’m noticing the weaving in and out of different things in my practice. It’s also inspiring and grounding to visit others who are working with similar themes (memory, the passing of time). Just this weekend I caught up with a friend working from her co-run gallery space nearby. I love getting the chance to chat with other artists, in a way it helps me to feel understood without having to explain a lot or give context because we share a lot of the same processes and thoughts! I also attended a really beautiful and heartwarming poetry reading run by The Poetry Lounge mid-week which gave me a much needed boost!
I don’t have many new things to offer today; but, I will share some old(er) work in the spirit of this month and of Valentines Day coming up.
First, a reading of one of the poems in the new chapbook. It’s called “a love” and I think it’s rather special. Think of it as a freebie or tidbit to say thanks to my subscribers! I will be uploading the reading in full at some point soon so watch out for that notification.
Second - may I direct you to this cover of mine I recorded last year? It’s of a song called “Sweet Sir Galahad” by Joan Baez and I just think it’s such a sweet tune. If you can, catch the live recording of Joan Baez at Woodstock on YouTube. IIRC, she goes into detail about what inspired the song (clue: it was actually inspired by the romance between her brother-in-law and her sister!)
I hope you all have a lovely week & weekend!!
Much love from my cosy North London studio <333

P.S. It’s coming up to the first year anniversary of BLOOM! which is exciting! I started it last year on the Spring Equinox :) maybe I will do something special to celebrate…
P.P.S. Did you enjoy ~move~? Paid subscribers get access to two playlists of currently unreleased demos. And you can save on a subscription by a lot if you pay annually :) as always, DM me or reply to this email for any more info!!
People have been curious about the fact that it was inspired, in part, by my chanting practice of 5+ years. Want to know more? Send me a message and I’ll invite you to a playlist I have of lots of chants that inspire me :)

I just listened to move, love your music 💘
